Description
The painting is about the Cat Lovers-Friends of SPCA having a quilt sale for charity. Check out the quilts, they are all about their beloved cats. See the cats watching one falls off the tree and the wise one quips... " Whoa, another life deducted from your 9 lives! You guys never learn the perils of climbing trees. Didn't you see this guy here just back from the vet with a lampshade!?!"
This painting won 3rd place in 'ARTS2007' of BC Surrey Art Council's Show.

I love this! Such bright vibrant colors and so much to look at. The quilting bee, and all those kitties bring a smile to my face. Found you while browsing through the Canadiana contest and voted for you. Good luck!

You're absolutely right Mr. Wilfrido. Folk Realism is such an apropos way of describing your unique, lovely style. I've never seen anything like it. Your work evokes images of an idyllic heaven of Earth where life is sweet and full of joy with an air of innocence and harmony. It is where people really take delight in one another; and that's the way it should be. Thank you for reminding us of how joyous and harmonious life could be.
Wilfrido Limvalencia replied:
Thank you so much Bijan, I appreciate your visit and your taking time to write a very nice comment.
